Can I pay myself or transfer money to earn points?
No. Payments must be made to genuine third parties for legitimate goods or services. Transfers to yourself or related parties primarily to earn rewards are not permitted.
Can I really pay anyone and still earn credit card rewards?
Yes. You can pay anyone with a New Zealand bank account using your points earning Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit card — even if they don’t normally accept card payments.
Because the payment is made using your credit card, you’ll continue earning your usual reward points, and with most cards you may also benefit from up to 55 days interest-free, just like any standard credit card purchase.
How long does the payment take?
Payments typically arrive within 1-2 business days to any NZ bank account.
What cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit and debit cards. You'll still earn your normal card rewards points.
Is there a payment limit?
You can pay between $1 and $100,000 per transaction.
What reference appears on the bank statement?
You can customise the particulars, code, and reference fields - just like a normal NZ bank transfer.
